Hi! I'm Mehreen 👋

I am a 3rd year PhD student in Informatics at UC Irvine, advised by Dr. Elena Agapie. My research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Digital Mental Health. I am interested in studying how youth use technology to self-manage their mental well-being in their daily lives and designing solutions that fulfill their mental health needs.

I am currently finishing my study on how emerging adults (ages 18-25) use multiple technology platforms to self-manage their mental health.
I started working on my comprehensive exam that reviews past literature on how young adults use technology for the self-management of their mental health
